Our mission is to bring people together in loving relationship with God and each other in Christ.
About Us
At Grace Episcopal, you will find a warm, open, and welcoming parish with an inclusive atmosphere for all who walk through our red doors. Grace is a multi-generational and diverse congregation who come together each week in faith, fellowship, and service.
Worship is at the center of all that we do. We value powerful prayers rooted in the Episcopal tradition, preaching that brings God's Word alive with clarity and conviction, and exceptional music. Our worship is centered on celebrating Holy Communion and Holy Scripture. All are welcome!
What We Believe
-
We believe the good news of God in Jesus Christ. He is the Son of God, fully human and fully divine, who lived among us, died for us, and rose again. In him we find forgiveness, purpose, and hope. He calls people into a living friendship, forms us into a community, and sends us to love our neighbors.
-
We trust the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as the unique witness to God’s saving work and as the rule and guide of our life. We read the Bible in the fellowship of the Church, using Scripture, Tradition, and Reason together. We belong to a community that loves hard questions and seeks wisdom in prayer.
-
We confess the Apostles’ Creed and the Nicene Creed as faithful summaries of the Christian faith. Our common life is shaped by the Book of Common Prayer. Its patterns of worship teach us to praise God, to repent, to intercede for the world, and to give thanks.
-
We believe that God meets us with real grace in the sacraments. Holy Baptism joins us to the death and resurrection of Jesus and marks us as Christ’s own forever. In the Holy Eucharist we receive the Body and Blood of Christ and are strengthened to serve in his name. These gifts do not depend on our worthiness. They are the Lord’s gifts for the Lord’s people.
-
Discipleship is a journey. We grow through worship each Sunday, prayer in daily life, Scripture study, acts of mercy, and honest fellowship. We take formation seriously and we start where people truly are. Beginners and lifelong Christians learn together.
-
We believe every person is made in the image of God. We seek to honor that dignity in our worship, our welcome, and our service. You do not have to have everything figured out to belong here. Bring your story. Bring your questions. There is room for you.
-
Faith is never kept for ourselves. Christ sends his Church to love the poor, to seek justice and peace, to care for creation, and to bless our city. We want our neighbors to know that God is near and that the Church is for them.
-
The simplest next step is to worship with us on Sunday. Stay for coffee. Introduce yourself. Ask for prayer. If you would like to learn more about baptism, confirmation, or joining a small group, we would be honored to walk with you.
