Meals on Wings
We currently serve 40 homebound individuals for Meals on Wings, or ‘MOW,’ a program staffed by volunteers and funded by grants and donations. Cooks prepare hot lunches every Wednesday and Friday, which are then distributed by drivers. A hot delicious meal prepared from scratch and delivered by a smiling face tells people, “You matter, you are worthy, and we care about you!”
We currently need volunteer cooks for Fridays, if you are interested in getting involved!
Scouting America
We began as Cub Scout Pack 622 in 2017 with 7 dens and 12 scouts, and in 2025 were charted as Scouting America (SA) units, with Troop 622 being converted into a Family Troop for boys and girls from 6th through 12th grades, as well as younger lions starting in kindergarten. We also work with Sea Scout Ship 623 which has over twenty 18-21 year olds from all over Indian Nations Council. Scouts attend camps and go on a number of adventures, including SCUBA training, fitness trainings, S.T.E.M projects, camping (in the church and in the wild!), providing community service, holding fundraisers, and much, much more! Some of our scouts are working towards their Eagle Scout, which is earned by less than 1% of the U.S. population.
Grace Quilters lovingly makes bright and colorful quilts from donated fabrics, patterns, and notions, that we then give away to people experiencing homelessness, shelter dogs, new babies, or anyone in need of a hug to cheer them up! You do not need to be an experienced or talented seamstress or own a sowing machine to join us from noon to 2 p.m. in our dedicated quilting room. This is a fun and creative skill that anyone and everyone is welcome to join in and learn with us.
Grace Quilters
On our campus at the southwest corner of 6th and Broadway is a green space that we plan to convert into a garden with a walkway, bench seating, irrigation, easy to care for planting, a concrete plaza, an electricity source, night lighting, and a labyrinth, all in memory of beloved Grace member Margaret Cain. The garden will not just be a space for Grace members, but a place of respite and beauty for the wider Muskogee community. The Margaret’s Garden Committee works to raise funds for the project, which is estimated to cost around $45,000, through fundraiser events and grant applications. You can help us fundraiser or make a contribution to the church specified for Margaret’s Garden to help us get this project and labor of love off the ground.
Margaret’s Garden Committee
Our goal is to create events that bring the church and wider community together more often for fellowship, food, and fun! Through activities like hold themed potlucks at coffee hour the last Sunday of each month, attending fun and educational events like the Tulsa Foundation for Architecture Art Deco Tour, and hosting an International Dinner that is well loved by people beyond our church community, we hope to support other groups, build friendships, and reconnect with God through community.
Parish Life
Our Community Garden at the corner of 7th and Court has community beds that are available for adoption, as well as bench seating, gravel paths, and several planted trees. Asparagus, tomatoes, corn, peppers, perennials, and wild flowers to attract pollinators are some of the things you’ll find planted in our garden. In addition to adopting a bed, we always need folks to help us water in the heat of the summer, so that we can take shifts and not have anyone in the heat for too long. When working in the garden, you can expect to be greeted by birds, bees, a neighborhood cat, and community members walking along Court Street, who often stop to admire the space and share their appreciation with our gardeners.
