Service to Others

Grace parishioners actively support Muskogee Cooperative Ministries, an ecumenical endeavor of 17 churches in the community, and United Thank Offering, which supports the ministry of the Episcopal Church throughout the world.

We also have sponsored students in Uganda through the Bushenyi Alliance for Rural Health and Development (B.A.R.H.D.). A new outreach ministry at Grace supports Fr. James Tamba, an Episcopal priest in Suakoko, Liberia, West Africa.

For several years, the men of Grace Church have participated in Camp New Hope and Camp Vision, a ministry for children whose parents are in prison. We also allow use of our facilities to outside groups on a regular basis.

Within our parish we provide outreach programs to meet the needs of our members through lay visitation, casserole care, elder care and an encouragement ministry, which sends card and notes to shut-ins and those who have experienced a recent loss, illness or other adversity.
