Sunday School

Sunday School takes place Sunday mornings between 9:15 and 10:00 am. The goals for Christian Formation at Grace Church include individual growth, strengthened community and enabling our children and youth to put their faith to work in their daily lives.
Godly Play – Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade
Godly Play is an experiential program that teaches children the art of using religious language helping them become more fully aware of the mystery of God’s presence in their lives. Godly play deepens the spiritual and creative side of children as well as their teachers. The program is used by many Christian denominations as well as in schools, hospitals, retirement centers and even homeless shelters.

Middle School – 6th through 8th grade
The middle school uses the Living the Good News curriculum published by Morehouse. This lively program connects our everyday stories and concerns with the narrative of God’s love and grace found in the Bible. Students gain a deeper understanding of the timeless stories of the Christian faith while reflecting on their own lives and values.
High School – 9th through 12th grade
The high school also uses the Living the Good News program at a more advanced level. In addition they take on additional projects such as reflecting on the needs of the local community and environmental topics.

Christian Formation for youth and adults
On Wednesday evenings from 5:30 – 7:00 pm, Grace is offering parallel sessions for youth and adults in a program called “Confirm not Conform.” These classes run every other week. Please check the parish calendar for details.

Nursery Care – Up to 5-years-old
The nursery is open from 9:15 am to 12 pm.
